The Relay For Life of The Villages of Hope is just 2 days away!
We are excited to have Tim Hawkins, CEO of The Villages Regional Hosptial joining us to welcome guests, participants, survivors and caregivers. He has also joined the TVRH team lead by Carol Browning!

Ray Luggioria will emcee the event with Spencer Glover as our all night dj!
The Goldwings will lead the Survivor lap while the Villages Cheerleaders and Relay For Life Cheerleaders line the track to cheer on our heroes.

Thank you to Dr. Paul Adams, Dr Maen Hussein, Dr. Bobby Harrison, Dr. David Rizzoto, Dr. Acevedo and Tim Hawkins for presenting our honored survivor guests with a 2011 commemorative pin before the lap.

The Villages Harmony...Doo Wop will perform several numbers as our excited teams prepare for a night of activities including the Road to Recovery race; Duct Tape & Newspaper Fashion Design; Finding your Soul Mate; Turkey Bowling; Blind folded pudding eating and much, much more!

Luminaria will begin at 9PM with Bag piper Kevin Seffridge leading the participants around the track in memory and in honor of those who have fought the disease. To close the ceremony, we will blow message into bubbles to heaven.

The closing ceremonies begin at 10:30 AM with announcement of the total to date, winners of the spirit awards and to announce the date, location and time of our "Pot Luck" wrap up party! Hope you will join us for all the fun.

Sumter County Transit is offering transportation for those desiring to drive their golf carts. CR 103 passed Walmart is not golf cart accessible, however the Sumter County Transit leadership has generously offered transport from Walmart to the site location!

Simply park at the back of Walmart near CR103 and enjoy the transit system from 5PM - Midnight and from 6 AM - 10 AM Saturday.
