Default 21 Year old Looking for Summer work

My 21 year old son is down for the next 2 months. He will be a rising Senior in College. Trying to find somewhere for him to work. He has access to car and/or golf cart. Live near Brownwood so that area preferred but not a must.

What's his major?

Unfortunately in the "down" season, servers and bussers are laid off here.

Somebody should need him but he should have sent out inquiries ahead of time. ( I am a card carrying grandmother and I find myself saying things like that)

seems like a lot of folks here on the board need someone to weed and trim shrubs - maybe they would hire him while they sought a more permanent solution.

If he has IT skills they may "wink" him in.
Otherwise he STARTS as a "lumper" in the back room...( Stockroom)

Why not check out temporary agencies. With an IT background maybe there would be some office jobs available. Just do a google search for temporary agencies in the Villages, Florida. Several company names and phone numbers came up.

Another thing I shouldn't say but I will. I think since he is so comfortable with a computer he could be doing the search for a job.

TV may be growing more and more south, but it's nowhere near Disney or Universal yet.
