OMG You just made my day, it's good to know how to handle the dust buildup. I just happen to have a perfectly good leaf blower that doesn't get enough use.

Never, ever, dust the top of your cabinets. It's the only place that I can grow indoor potatoes. If you don't like indoor gardening, then my wife recommends getting cabinets that go all the way to the ceiling.
