Default Need info for selling home on my own

Moving to be closer to grandchildren....interested in selling home on my own and need some info on dos and don'ts...where do I start? How do I get my info out to the public? Any recommendations at all to get the process started and moving in the right direction would be helpful. Thank you all for responding.

VillagersHomes4Rent.com has a for sale by owner section where you can list your home yourself...

Go to the Search bar above and type in FSBO. Threads will appear with others experiences looking to do the same. Good Luck!

Take lots of pictures. If you're not able to I'm sure you can hire someone to do it for you inexpensively. Post specific information on this website and sign up for fsbointhevillages.com. Price your home to sell and don't include an amount for a realtor. I sold my home in Mission Hills strictly by word of mouth. Lucky, yes!! This usually is not the case. Go to a Title company and get a for sale by owner package to fill out just in case you get an offer. The best of luck to you.

I highly recommend that you start by contacting Advantage Title (352-430-1328) located on 466 in Liberty Plaza just east of Bunea Vista. Advantage Title has a package of materials to help you sell your home yourself.

In addition, they will handle the closing and paperwork for you at a very reasonable cost. I have sold two homes myself in TV and Advantage was most professional and helpful.

When selling FSBO, state facts about your home. Don't over talk anything. The least you say, the better. Remember, potential buyers are coming to look at your home to buy, not to be friends. If you would say something not true, it could come back and bite you. Good luck!
