Need information on exterior decorative tiles on Designer homes
I am trying to identify the decorative ~4" tiles that are placed in groups of 4, in a diamond orientation, located below the roof line peaks, on the exterior of Designer homes (~2004) with a stucco exterior. Most of the Designer/stucco houses in my development have these tiles, except for my house (which does NOT have these tiles). I would like to add these type of tiles to my house so I am looking for:
- the name used for these tiles - where they can be purchased - contractors who may be able to install - any other constructive information I have done many internet searches but have not found anything definitive on decorative tiles applied to the exterior of houses. I also tried calling The Villages but they said that they have no idea what they did 20 years ago. Thank you! Last edited by JohnnyP; 05-14-2024 at 12:42 PM. Reason: Clarification |

At 20 years old, I am guessing home warranty was not able to help. An internet search might get you some information, I was helping another neighbor a few years ago and found several sites that had OLD out of stock tile. I would try something along the lines of, decorative 4 inch outdoor tiles or a similar phrase with any luck you will find tiles similar to yours.

Thank you "villagetinker" for your response (you have so many helpful responses on this forum). I have clarified my original post to include that my house does NOT have these tiles but I think they look very nice and I would like to add them on my house.

I entered the search phrase 'outdoor decorative wall tiles' and saw a lot of options, now none of these looked the same as your photo, but there were a lot of options to choose from.
Hope this helps.

What if you asked a neighbor who has the tiles on their house to call warranty and ask where the tiles came from? There should be information on their house with the tiles in warranty's files. Just a thought.
