Obviously you can get Carrier from them as they priced both Trane and Carrier for me.
I called the Chuck Farrell company today, and they told me that they are not a Carrier dealer. The only system they install is American Standard, which is basically the same as Trane.

Default There is a reason!

There are reasons why Chuck Farrell is not taking on any new business.
Their HVAC service, installation, equipment and pricing are all great.
Plus they have an excellent reputation!

If I were you, I would not call Sun Kool. Way too many Villagers unhappy with their work.

Checked them all out last year. Yes Amer Std is the off brand of Trane and so is Bryant and Carrier. If you look at the warranties the off brand offer 5 years and the brands 10. I went with Carrier using Munns. Great company and they were the best price also

My "off brand" American Standard has a 12 yr warranty for their 2 stage unit.

Any other suggestions?

And any suggestions on who to ca iu ll to install?

thank you all again!
To answer your question. Stay with the most popular brands in the area.
1. Carrier Brands (Carrier, Bryant, Heil,
Payne)
2. Trane Brands (Trane or American Standard)

With those brands represented in well over 99 percent of the homes in the area, those are the parts most service companies will have in stock (including my own company).

That’s it clear and simple with good reason to stay with those brands.

My question is what is wrong with your system? Please don’t listen to the techs trying to earn commission by cinvincing you to change based on age, rust or lack of parts.
They are trained to extract money by convincing you to change as soon as the part warranty is over.

Contact me for 2nd opinion if you need it.
