Default Need a ride to Sanford Airport Feb 13th

Wife and I (one suitcase) need a ride to Sanford Airport for an 8:50 am flight on Thursday Feb. 13th.

Don Reid is booked that day, and the Airport Van picks you up 3 1/2 hours before the flight and goes all over creation to pick people up for Orlando first. Then it goes to Sanford.

One-way car rental is an option - leaving mighty darn early!

Heck of an expensive taxi ride.

Go over there the night before in a one-way rental and stay in a hotel with shuttle service to the airport.

Things to think about before flying into a regional airport.

Call AL at 352-259-6179. He, or his wife Bev, have taken us to Sanford numerous times. Reasonable and reliable!

We use Gaston (he advertises in The Sun). He charges $85 one way to Sanford Airport. Very reliable and friendly. His number is352-638-4112.

those are all good suggestions, just call each one to get a comparison. Orlando Sanford Airport is about the same distance as OIA. Not sure if Enterprise car rental is onsite. A car service would drop you off at the door, and no hassle of going around The Villages picking others up.

Al is $80 for two people to Sanford, and he picks you up at the house.

Thanks for the advice, but this huge storm might change everything for Thursday.
