Default Need to ship oranges

Hi,
I realize I forgot my brain and my Christmas gift duties and addresses at home when we came to the villages. Best solution ship a big batch of oranges to the house where everyone is gathering (except us ) for the holiday week.
Where is a good place to that packs and ships oranges and florida citrus north.

Thanks for any help,
Trudy

I believe Jennings does they are all over one is on 32 and 466. I usually sip Honeybells from Gregorys they are awesome but not ready to ship till early Jan. when they come in season. They are the sweetest and juiciest. The people getting them get a card before Christmas letting them know when to expect there gift.

Just shipped some from the Orange Barn on 27/441. They had a nice selection of small and large boxes etc. and free shipping. They were very nice to deal with.

I've been using Gregory's for several years and recipients have always been pleased. They have many different gift combinations to choose from. Their website is gregorysgroves.com.

If you get to the Ft Myers area, be sure to visit the Sun Harvest Citrus Store. Lots of samples, ice cream, gifts, and shipping everywhere.
Be sure to try the Star Grapefruit, mighty tasty.

KayakerNC, Your post of Citrus makes me drool!

My Mom still lives in Clearwater and our favorite grove there was Orange Blossom Groves. They suffered a freeze and fungus a few years ago and now they are a car lot....very sad.

We used to take our kids there, as my parents took us.... to watch the big machines sort the fruit and always took great citrus home along with a fabulous orange ice cream cone. Ah....the days.....

I even sent one of our daughters a quart of their orange ice cream, shipped on dry ice, when she had her first baby 18 yrs ago.

Ft Myers is just far enough south to be fairly safe from the freezes. Nice!!

We can't wait to find some place near there, but realize their fruit will be shipped in from a grove further south.

You just triggered some great memories....Thanks!
