Have no fear.

In a few months - when it starts getting cold - you will get nothing but early tee times as most folks will want the later, warmer times. Happens to me all the time.

Last year it seemed like we ended up playing Peilican at 7:47 every week.
Didn't get warm until June !

Do you look 1-3 days out to see what is available or put in a request 4-7 days out?

If I want an early tee time, I put in a request and get it 9 out of 10 times.

since I play every morning I just go in each morning the day before and grab one. I have never not been able to do this. I get for two all year long.

It's called the "points system"... and there are several course closed on a daily basis.

Not sure how , when you input requests but we never have requests time problems whether am or pm times. You may want to call tee time office for response to your problems.

Since I usuall don't stir till 9 a.m. I'll be no competition for the early tee times when we return to The Villages this winter. For the first time, we'll be there as a home owner, not renters. Silver Lake Village. I'm flying down in December to look for and buy a used gas golf cart, Yamaha or EZ-Go.

I will go in on Thursday to make an early tee time for Saturday. I have noticed it is hard to get times on some of the more popular courses, but times are available. Just need to be flexible on where you play.

My husband and I also purchased a house in Silver Lake and will be heading down in October. We're on Rainbow Blvd.

There in lies the problem. Most people that live south of 466 will only play courses that are south. Some won't go north of 466a. I personally have no problem getting in my golf cart and play Amberwood or Oakleigh or any course I can get to by golf cart.Oh and by the way I live south of 466a. Flexibility is the way to play golf any time of the day you want!
