Default Pool fence

I own a home that is a rental and am looking for someone to build a cage or fence around the pool equipment so that renters can’t adjust the controls on the system. One renter turned levers and buttons and almost broke the operating pump. Suggestions?

IMHO, I believe you will need weekly access for the pool maintenance, so you might want to install security cameras with audible capability, and tell anyone not from pool maintenance to stay away. I suggest this because any fence or enclosure sufficient to stop people from getting it may require ARC approval and could be denied. My neighbors controls are behind lock and key on the main panel, and I would guess suitable locks could be installed on the valves.

You could collect a significant security deposit and specifically state in the rental contract that it will be forfeited if the renters touch the system controls. Monitoring the system with a security camera, with stored footage, would make enforcement of the contract easy.
