Why did you even feel the need to respond?
Number of posts made ≠ number of posts read...

Why? Because there have been soooo many of these thread that solve nothing. Despite your claim not to have seen them....

IF they clean it up, yes, I would and am OK with it. In fact I have a corner lot.
It just doesn't bother me. It doesn't bother me if the dogs pee in my yard either.
But that's me.
You are entitled to be bothered by it. You are entitled to react in a way I feel is over-reacting. I wouldn't have said that about your reaction if you hadn't invited my opinion with "your thoughts?"

It's OK, we are all different.

You need to do like Jim Carey in "Me, Myself and Irene"... That would stop them.

Angry

I had one neighbor walk up in the middle of my corner lot with his dog. I turned the sprinklers on and he got the message. Never did it again.

Disagree! Anytime a neighbor trespasses to dump raw sewage ( dog pee and poo is sewage, and picking up the solid bits doesn't ever get it all ) in someone else's yard, we should all be surprised and appalled at that person and their lack common decency and self-respect.
Anyone not denouncing the behavior is likely to be one of the miscreants.

It is rude for them to continue to allow the dog to poop in your yard now that you've made the aware you don't want them to, even if they do clean it up, but it's not close to the equivalent of pooping in your house.

Personally, I think you are over-reacting to a very small inconvenience, but it's your yard, and your right to do so.
Not only rude to continue, but way beyond rude to ever think trespassing was in anyway acceptable in the first place.
Not over reacting, imho. Small inconvenience? Someone has taken possession of your property without permission, and used it. Same principle as taking possession of your car, with out your permission, for a joyride then returning it to where they found it. Imo, you are trying to make light of a situation that to many is very unpleasant, to say the least.

You are probably correct, but we can live in hope that those who abuse their neighbors by using their yards as dumping grounds will realize what horrid neighbors they have been and one by one become the good neighbors and responsible pet owners we can all appreciate.
Yes, I am a dreamer.

My back yard has a sidewalk, with a street. Lot’s of dog walking; dogs are dogs; they leave their scent, they pee where they want to. I’m not out there shooing the wild animals away

Life’s too short. I DO agree, owners should pick up the #2s

Just a friendly reminder that dogs can only go where their owner let's them go. If the dog is in your yard, bad owner, good dog.

May want to check where your property line is..............I'm not talked about the easement, the actual property line. The turds might not be on your property.

And yet still an everyday occurrence. We had visitors this week, their Belgian is retired LEO. She is guarded our property like she is still working.

Ya got to love the look as she runs the property line, with a semi smile, and a don’t come near my space look. This week every dog walker was on the other side of the street. Maybe we can rent her out for snacks.

I wish most of these people would stop having a heart attack over a little dog poo. Of course the ideal situation for all is that the dog does it at home... guess what, doesn't always work that way, so they get walked... and yes they are gonna pee and poo, of course that owner better have a bag and of course the dog should do it at the street edge of grass... guess what folks... that's not your land. So pipe down and relax. So many other things to raise your BP with.....how about the rats that come down your beautiful palm tree and poos on your yard, or those huge roaches climbing thru your walls, or those obnoxious loud music playing, always arguing neighbor.... save your rising BP for that stuff.
BUT with all that said...if that walker does not pick up the poo....all bets are off and on go the sprinklers! Lol
