Is there any doubt now why the "outsiders" refer to the Villages as a Stepford Wives community.

I dunno. Do the Stepford Wives wear Speedo's and exercise with loud music in driveways at six A.M.? Or do they like folks who do? I think you are going for snobs. But that is all how you look at it. I am a snob for damn sure. But I have other redeeming qualities.(show laughing emoticon here) |
Before the mean boys pounce on me again. I hope to heaven I am not a snob. I was kidding around again.
I looked it up and on the internet there are rules for being a snob. Here is one of them; Pretending to be something you are not can make you a fake. People that are your friends when you are faking are just friends of the fake you. Also, your current friends might be offended and ignore you. Remember that looking rich may well entail exactly the opposite of being rich. Someone who spends $300 on a wristwatch may have an impressive-looking wristwatch, but will be $300 poorer. Don't be stupid and mean, if you act mean, no one will like you. I do agree with the last line. |

As far as the second part, the debates may be more entertaining as long as you do not watch on a full stomach.... |

Think I will watch a John Wayne movie.. Popcorn icon.. I love the OP wigging out, chuckle over the geezer in speedos, and Gracie in the middle of a mudfight, just like Maureen Ohara. Which movie was that? The Quiet Man? (Tal??) You guys made me happy today, thanks. |

Case in point, I enjoy living with snobs. Physical features are nicer which keeps property values higher. It feeds my greed and OCD. |

Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is a personality disorder in which a person is excessively preoccupied with personal adequacy, power, prestige and vanity, mentally unable to see the destructive damage they are causing to themselves and others. It is a cluster B personality disorder.[1]
It is estimated that this condition affects one percent of the population, with rates greater for men. First formulated in 1968, NPD was historically called megalomania, and is a form of severe egocentrism.[2] |
