The question is...what if she was playing loud music while walking???

Insanity, craziness or madness is a spectrum of behaviors characterized by certain abnormal mental or behavioral patterns. Insanity may manifest as violations of societal norms, including a person becoming a danger to themselves or others, though not all such acts are considered insanity; likewise, not all acts showing indifference toward societal norms are acts of insanity. In modern usage, insanity is most commonly encountered as an informal unscientific term denoting mental instability, or in the narrow legal context of the insanity defense. In the medical profession the term is now avoided in favor of diagnoses of specific mental disorders; the presence of delusions or hallucinations is broadly referred to as psychosis. :read:

Is she playing a drum or a bugle? And what is the song? I trust a piece by John Philip Sousa.

You're thinking of mummers. They dance too. But mostly they're drunk.

I'm not sure what you are suggesting. Could you put it in your own words?

Actually this woman has no accompanying band just probably a lot of admiring glances from men in cars and golf carts going by. I met her husband a few years back.

what i like to know is how we went from working out at 6:30 am in speedo's to yelling at his wife, to looking in to someones windows.
Come on with the houses so close proximity, it is impossible to walk on the side of a home without walking 5 feet from someones windows.
It sounds like no one likes this person because he's different and all you folks in my opinion need to get a life if you are listening to a husband and wife having a dispite.
Jezzzzzzz!!! i am glad i don't live in your neighborhood!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They seem to be. I met the husband in a professional setting though but should not say anymore or someone will figure out whom I am talking about if they have not already. He is a funny guy.

This guy is a first class nut--the neighborhood refers to him as Miami Mike

Sorry for the loud music at 630am. Maybe if you joined him in YOUR speedo it might make a point? Let me know if you need any help and I will dig out my teeny tiny polka-dot bikini...

This happened three years ago and your neighbors are still talking about it? It must be a really quiet neighborhood.
I can see that the blaring music at 6:30 AM might be a problem. However if your neighbor is doing yoga at noon, why would that offend you?

Wow! This thread is popular I cant believe how many posts since I first visited it but then I do play golf in the cold weather.

don't really care what people do and am aware that there are probably things about me that others dislike.

However on the serious side I believe there is a noise ordinance to refrain from noise until 8:00AM. At least that is best as I can recall. Besides being thoughtful is one of my good traits:D and I never do yard work until 8:00 AM so as not to disturb my late sleeping neighbors

I also agree that the two people being discussed are no doubt really nice people and I hope they would view all this chatter as just having a little fun

In fact I hope no one participating on this thread takes it that seriously. Its just another past time distraction ,etc for me . an opportunity to visit about various topics express an opinion but like a bad golf shot once done I think upon no more.

speaking of which I have to shower( hope that's not too personal) and get to the golf course for an early tee time

Simply trying to put things into proper prospective. Personally, I don't like people ganging up on anyone because they are different in appearance or behavior. I abhor the feeding frenzy by pseudo intellectuals who use witty phrases and words to bash people and simultaneously gather support from others under the guise of mature innocence and wisdom.
I also don't like when one person who 's opinion deviates from the norm is summarily bashed so as to appear "weird", out of touch, with the same old love it or leave it attitude.
People are different for a reason, they are individuals. If someone has the resources to buy a ticket into paradise they are entitled to live their life in any way they choose without harassment as long as they do no harm to others.
