Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is a personality disorder in which a person is excessively preoccupied with personal adequacy, power, prestige and vanity, mentally unable to see the destructive damage they are causing to themselves and others. It is a cluster B personality disorder.[1]

It is estimated that this condition affects one percent of the population, with rates greater for men. First formulated in 1968, NPD was historically called megalomania, and is a form of severe egocentrism.[2]

Isn't that #121 on the periodic table? I believe it was discovered during an experiment in the collider in Bern.

If it was a good looking granddaughter or even a 50 something widower in a bikini I don't think we would have this thread. Then again, maybe we would if all the male neighbors spent their free time cutting her lawn, painting her house, taking out her garbage, actually she wouldn't have to lift a finger.

Back in Maryland I woke one night at 3am and looked out the front window and saw something in the driveway at the house across the street. The street light wasn't bright enough and they didn't have a porch light on. I thought at first it was someone breaking into their car. After watching for a couple of minutes I realized it was someone doing jumping jacks. The next day I asked my neighbor about it, and she said she liked to workout at 3am.

I guess i can't have it both ways, so i am saying "No"
then i can't judge, Correct.
What i am saying is everyone's different and why are they picking on this guy because he's different.
don't judge someone else until you look in the mirror
I hope you understand what i am saying .

How would you like to hear his freakin music blaring through your house @ 6:15 every morning for -4+ years-my next door neighbor feels this guys is looking into her house--get real--this isn't a game --this guy is NUTS

Also- we all heard him SCREAMING @ his wife for spending $16.00/ without asking his permission--this happened 3 years ago

I still have mixed feelings on this

The loud music at 6AM is clearly wrong and probably violates some statutes.

Beyond that, my first thought was who are we to tell him when to exercise, where to exercise, what to wear , etc

But then again, since 8 inch garden gnomes have been deemed offensive and prohibited so others don't have to view them, this guy sounds a lot bigger and more offensive appearing than a gnome.

I suppose if he is quiet, then nobody has to look, but I guess I'm still ambivalent

Loud music at 6 am is very inconsiderate, plus I'd just feel a tad embarrassed for the poor guy, but to each his own! If I don't want to see it, I don't have to watch his morning um..calisthenics.

A friend of mine at one time resided next door to a plastic surgeon whose wife was a former Miss America or some other big deal beauty contest winner. She was in her thirties, no doubt having had some lifts, tucks and augmentation done, and looked absolutely stunning! She used to jog around in her backyard which was surrounded by a high fence. My friend's son, a teenager, spent many a happy moment observing the lady doing her workout routine though a small gap in the fence. Everyone knew about this yet no one complained. I guess it depends on the shape of the body being revealed.

There is a retired ballet dancer or something like that who walks her dog along one of the Villages' streets. She still looks stunning no matter what she wears. Saw her yesterday and then today too. I have no idea how old she is but would guess she is now 50 to 60 years old.
