Default Near bike cart accident

To the golf cart driver and his passengers that did not run me over near the underpass on Morse just south of 466A; My deepest apologies for cutting in front of you. My judgement of speed, and lack of knowledge of where stop signs are located was totally lacking. Only your action saved me from harm as I did not leave myself any escape. I sincerely hope that I never put anyone else in that position as I did today. My deepest apology and thanks.

Very nice post. It takes a big person to admit their mistakes. I wasn't in the cart (or even in TV) when it happened. Very nice apology.

I rarely ask anyone to be my friend on their very first post, but I will ask you.

Your mother did a great job.

What a sincere apology! That was very considerate of you. More people should be like you.

It would be nice if we could expect more posts like this in 2016, but I fear that will not be the case....but, we can hope!!

I jut got a new bike, and I have been avoiding the tunnels. I am not sure if I am safer on the road, because of the traffic, but I think the tunnels seem scarier.

If I were a biker (or even walking) I would avoid tunnels also.

I avoid the MM paths altogether for a variety of reasons.

I avoid the MMPs and, consequently, the tunnels. If you are a strong rider, the roads are fine. Get a mirror for your handlebars or helmet.

On a bike I'll use the tunnels. You can move quickly. But walking I feel much safer crossing BV. I can wait for a big gap and go to the divider [island?]. And wait for the next big gap and everyone sees me.
