Default Nest Floorplan (Patio Villa) for a Couple

Any couples living in the "Nest" model patio villa? Care to share your thoughts? Or any photos of how you have creatively used the space to maximize efficiency. (We are a couple relocating to TV and we are minimalists and prefer small homes for cost savings.)

TV is more about the outdoors for us and the lifestyle. We really just want a cozy place to hang our hats.

When we purchased our PV there were not two models. Our kitchen was a great size had a pony counter and LR and dining was combined.

The big issue I would have is the garage. If you choose to own a golf cart, you will need to move your car every time you leave and return

No problem having a golf cart and car in Patio Villa 1 !/2 car garage. I do it and most neighbors do also. Had a designer before we downsized and love the PV.

Model OP is looking at is an extended 1.5 car garage, but cart goes in cart size area front of car.

What? No kitchen bar counter? Our Colony patio villa had a kitchen bar counter and it was our very first ever in any home of ours. I would not want any home at this point without one. This model is missing that feature.

Also....you will be jockying car and golf cart all the time. That is a royal PIA. I'm surprised The Villages has designed a home like this one.

The Nest patio villa does have the washer & dryer hookup in the house, that is much nicer than in the garage, which can get hot in the summer.
