Netflix just announced a 1dollar increase to $8.99 a month.

I think that's for new customers only. As a present customer of theirs, I believe they are guaranteeing my the old price for another 2 years. Sounds perfectly reasonable to me.

As an old customer, the price I pay currently will remain the same for the next 2 years. Got an email from Netflix last week.
