So, what is there to talk about? It is a done deal.

Another bridge (the newly announced one will handle both vehicles and carts; the first one, carts only) gives people that travel in their carts another option to cross the turnpike.

I don't care if we double in size as long as the amenities keeps pace and the infrastructure is kept up.

They're overhauling the old Baily Rd bridge just south of the service plaza, not a big deal because of the existence of that bridge. It will be quite the sight when both bridges are done.

As far as amenities go from what I've seen in the plans that have been made available and what I'm seeing when flying over the construction areas, there are a lot going in. Rec Center locations are hard to pick out from the air but, I'm pretty sure that I've seen the makings for 4 or 5 more executive courses north of 468 plus the one the pitch-and-put and executive course next to it that have already been announced.

As fast as things are moving in CDD12 & 13 more information should be surfacing soon to get the necessary permitting in order.

You'll believe it if you read it here online but not in a newspaper.

I agree with you Kcrazorbackfan!! The developer always has a "big picture business plan" in place and it's well done when it's implemented. People tend to be impatient and want everything done "now" or sooner. When they're not in the know---they think someone is out to get them. I'm totally satisfied with how everything is kept up here! Most other retirement communities don't even compare!

going on 15 years we have lived TV lifestyle while it tripled in size. The developer has been very consistent in what is provided for residents.

It is safe to say the increased size of TV has only brought more of what we residents would like to have in amenities, shopping, restaurants, TV life style, etc.

We're not talking about it NOW because we have been following the various announcements that have been publicized for over a year. If you search TOTV, you will find many threads about specific announcements.

You just discovered the "big picture" and can't believe it. It IS a "done deal."

"Villages hype"? No, not hype. I think it's an informative communications plan which reduces the rumors that seem to be never-ending.

For example, attached is a map which was published in March 2018. It shows 2 golf cart bridges over Rt. 44 and 1 over the turnpike. Just recently, another bridge over the turnpike was announced which will be located below the spot on this map identified as "Future Village of Bradford."

Some of us on TOTV monitor the agendas and minutes of meetings held by Sumter County and City of Wildwood. These plans - and may more - have all been through a formal approval process.

So, sit back, stay informed, and enjoy the ride. I think the benefits of these plans will be amazing!

Headed down the Turnpike last week and we could see the land moving and trucks for what we think is construction of the cart only bridge north of Fenney. We were surprised to see one of the Villages stagecoaches parked on the cattle bridge just south of the rest area. So yep, two turnpike crossings. Saw evidence with my own eyes.

Seriously? I assume man never really walked on the moon either right?

Nobody is talking about it because it's old news. The only new news is the 2nd bridge over the turnpike which actually already exists. It was previously a cattle crossing bridge but now the developer owns the land on both sides of it. I first saw that on Goldwingnut's videos, but I assume that's not hard evidence in your mind either?

The entire thing is already planned out and is even shown on published maps showing the planned route with tunnels and bridges. And they are already working on it from both ends. Down here in the Fenney area the tunnel under 468 is well under way and the bridge over the pond that will lead into Brownwood is in place.
