Smile Running the Squares

Are any of you TOTV folks participating in the 5K Run in Brownwood tonight. This will be my first race since moving here and I'm very excited about it!

Default Running the Squares

I never saw the details on this. Does it require registration? Is it timed? Costumes? Where is the start?

I am doing a run/walk combo on this one. Don't look for any good time for me in this one. I intend to do all 3.

FLSun,
Yes, you have to register but I think you can do it right before the race. It starts at 5:30 pm at Paddock Square. I will be doing all three as well nkrifats, so maybe I'll see you there.

It was a nice race, great time of day and well managed.

I was surprised there were not more participants. This was my first race since moving here, looking forward to more of them.

Damn, some of these old folks are pretty fast…..

I've run almost all of them. I had to miss this one and I wasn't happy about it. My husband got fifth overall and first in his age group. He called me on the road to tell me I would have won easily enough. Didn't make my day. He said the course was a bit short. It was a 3 miler not a real 5K. Everyone should have had a great time since the course was short.
