Does anyone know if there will be a full moon drumming celebration at the polo fields on Saturday? I did not see anything in the paper today

It's whatever you want it to be. Although it is synchronized, there is no other instruction or direction.

Some drum for a personal meditation, some just for fun.... others experiment with various ethnic instruments as true musician contributors. One lady I know holds her drum between her knees and considers the vibration a soothing and effective therapy for her joints.
One villager brings a special needs grandchild from time to time. Pure joy to share.

The circle meets once a week in the outdoor gazebo across from Sonny's in LSL (weather permitting) and drums at the polo grounds when we have a full moon. Anyone may attend and/or participate by just being there. No 'sign-up' required.

Drumming Circle info is usually posted in the recreation news section of the Daily Sun. The weekly drumming is on Thursday afternoon, from 2 to 3 p.m.

For information, call Jo Ward at 753-7241. A lovely lady.
