Perhaps the Admin could explain why it was felt to be necessary to start publishing obituaries here on TOTV.

I would also like to opt out if this is going to be a regular feature.

Not crazy about seeing obituaries listed.
They are in the paper if anyone wants to see them.

These obits were linked to the Daily Sun. I thought that this forum operated independent of The Villages. I am confused by the apparent competition between TOTV and the new online Villages newsletter.

TOTV is a forum and not a newspaper, digital or otherwise. Once you become of jack of all trades, you are not a master of any.

I remember reading that there is a substantial number of people nationally who go to the obituaries first when they get their paper.
