Default Moving company questions when moving to TV from out of state

We are building in Osceola Hills. Our house will be available in November. When we move from Indiana we will need a moving company. Can semi-trailers used by major moving companies access the villages via the gates? Or will they have to unload from the semi into smaller trucks at a regional/local company warehouse? We are not moving enough belongings to fill a semi, but I know they generally move long distances with a full semi with multi-family belongings.

Yes they can access the Villages through the gates. If you live on a cul-de-sac they may have a long carry charge depending on the radius of the circle.

We live in a CYV off St. Charles. I was waiting by the phone expecting a call from the driver, when I suddenly saw the biggest United Van Lines tractor trailer pull up in front of our place. Not only did they have to come through the Buena Vista/St. Charles gate, but make 3 turns inside our villa community. It was a truck like this;

We had originally contracted through a local agent with Mayflower. After three weeks of no delivery, our agent called and said they had room on a United truck going to Tampa, I said fine go with that. Since they were so late, I called Mayflower in Chicago and they said we get a $125 refund for every day they were late, they gave me an email address to contact. The delivery was on a Sunday, on Monday I emailed and on Friday a check for $2,000 was in our mail.
