Default Auto Registration and Insurance

I am a resident of Florida but spend about five months of the year in Pennsylvania. My wife and I like to have two cars when we are in Pennsylvania, leaving one there and driving back and forth in the other one. Pennsylvania won't allow me to register a car there and the Villages Insurance isn't sure if a Florida registered and insured car would be covered if left in Pennsylvania. Does anyone else have this problem, either from Pennsylvania or another state?

I leave a Florida registered vehicle in Pennsylvania. I hate the drive from TV up 95. We fly to Pennsylvania about six times a year. Never had a issue.

Just heard from my insurance co. Not a problem for them, but they write auto policies in both states. Also reminded me to change usage from commuting to work to pleasure only (aah - retirement)
