Default One cart or two carts ??

A married couple (or any couple for that matter) drives two vehicles to their new home in the villages. After a few months, they sell one of those vehicles and purchase a golf cart.
Over the next few months, the couple becomes involved in many of the numerous activities offered by their new home town. Every day, he goes one way and she heads off to another...............whew !!
How many of our village couples have made the decision to purchase a second golf cart while maintaining their full size vehicle.

Veeman, when we first came down, we brought only 1 car and purchased a new golf cart. But, the first thing in the morning we had to negotiate who was going to drive what since we are both very involved in many activities.

Now, almost 6 months later, we have our 2nd car here and have purchased a 2nd golf cart. We find that there are days when we use all 4, but if we had to choose, the 2nd car would go. You can go almost anywhere you want by golf cart and it is so much fun!

You'll have the time of your lives no matter what!

My wife still works and I play golf what a deal. We have two golf carts and two cars. When we go in a golf cart wife and I are usually together.

The reason for two carts is that we have a lot of visitors friends, kids and grandkids. We have two carts so our guests can enjoy The Villages with us golf cart style. It truly makes the guests feel like they are part of our life here when they visit. Watching our guest enjoy their visit is part of the fun.

When we have guests who play golf or non golfers they love having their own cart.

Shortly after moving to TV with two cars we purchased 1 electric GC. We soon realized that we really needed an additional GC. We sold 1 of our cars and purchased a second electric GC. We are putting very little mileage on our remaining car and use the carts for most of our transportation in TV. I am considering purchasing a motor scooter but getting considerable resistance from my wife.

My wife never drove any kind of motor vehicle. As soon as she is comfortable with the golf cart think of buying a 2nd cart and using the car as little as possible

We got rid of our second car and a year ago, added a second golf cart. This one is a big 4-seat, in-line style that makes it easy to take kids and friends around with us. It also for my wife, since she is an Airhead with COPD and schleps her O2 around with her 24/7, much easier to get in, out and around with. We've never regretted the decision.

Default Never have a need ..........

My wife and I have lived here for almost three years now and still do not find a need for a golf cart.
Our schedule is as follows: Monday (recuperation day from Sunday) NO travel and as little movement as possible. Tuesday: wife has Mah-Jong from 11 to 4, I have band from 7 to 9, Wenesday: I have band from 8:30 to 10:30. She runs errands from 12 to 4. Thursday: I have band from 2:30-4:30. I take her for chemo-therapy from 5-6:30, then we go for coffee. Friday: She has Mah-Jong, I work on my book writing. Saturday: yard work and every other week go out for supper. In bed by 10. Sunday: Work from 8A till finished usually around 11P. Then revert back to Monday schedule.
With that schedule no need for anything other than one vehicle. Easy to do when you don't play golf, baseball, card-games or belong to clubs.

Neat bumper sticker. Went like this: "It's God's job to judge terrorists. Our job is to arrange the meeting!"

Be a gentleman, remove your hat/cap when entering a building and dining out!
