Question New Years Eve.

We will be there for our preview visit over the holidays, including New Years Eve. What type of events could we expect to find? How far in advance should reservations be made and where? Are there mostly just private parties?

Thanks for any information.

Valerie:

A knotty question! Not a great deal of Villages-sponsored activities, but almost any neighborhood has its own party, whether in the street or in some other public venue. My block has had a street party over the years, but we were rained out - at 11:45 pm - once, and we were chilled out on another attempt.

Bottom line:

Be prepared to make your own party.
