Default Home Inspection - Site Unseen

Has anyone had an inspection without seeing the home first? what happens to the inspection if, on visual, you don't like the house? Can you sell the inspection to the new prospects?

Since you don't know who is going to buy, I think its for your piece of mind.

To me, if there's any question about whether or not to buy a house, I'd hold off on having an inspection until you have a chance to see the place yourself. It's a roll of the dice to hope that another potential buyer will want to 'buy' the inspection you paid for if you decide to pass on the house. And it might be kind of tough to get connected with other potential buyers - that would have to happen via the seller who might not want to get involved.

JMHO!
