Not that I know of, Peggy.

No fireworks Peggy ... it would just wake everyone up and they'd be really annoyed!

Just kidding, but it isn't the livliest place at midnight ... except for some bars and country club parties.

Welcome to you. Hope you love it here. Happy New Year and every good wish.

Fireworks on New Years Eve is foreign to me.

Must be another local custom, but not MY local.

The U.S. is great.

Default No there are no fireworks unless you bring your own.

I have heard there are even groups who start their celebration early with the clock advanced by two or three hours so they can get home early?

The biggest loss of an amenity in TV was when they took away the most perfect venue we have ever participated in and that was celebrating the night away in TV town squares. Always a huge turn out....always a good time had by all. And then, for still a really unknown reason, it was TERMINATED!

There are still a lot of commercial establishments and private parties that provide a great party for those who choose to participate.

Happy New Year....

I said I hadn't heard of fireworks around here on New Years and what is on our local news tonight but talk of fireworks downtown on New Years.

Please don't ever pay much attention to what I say.

Default Fire Hazard

With the 13K acres burned in Brevard County, and not yet extinguished, I'd be surprised to see any....then there's Mickey Mouse town.

Fumar, I'm sure you must have been a stand-up comedian in your previous life.

Someone once told me that I was quite the comedian, but then they followed up by saying "but don't give up your day job!"
