Default New Years Party

We did Urban Flats this year and last. It is a great time. But thinking to change things up a bit. We live close to Sea Breeze and Colony Cottage any reports on how the parties were there?

We had a great time last night at Spanish Springs - the Never Never Band were really good. Then we went home made supper and watched the Times Square thing.

Here's what I think we should all do for future New Years Eve celebrations in The Villages - we all set our clocks 3 hours forward at 5pm on New Years Eve. Then we go to one of the town squares and have a mid Atlantic New Years Eve celebration.

I had a table of 20 last night at Havana CC... who did an outstanding job with service, food and entertainment. I had filet mignon and it was delicious, those that had the lobster tails were raving as well. The service was right-on. The place was packed to capacity. We sat outside and Havana had put curtains all around the outside verandas so even if it had been cold, we would have been toasty. It was a fantastic evening of music and dance. Patrick and Kirk were the entertainers and they
sang all night with very upbeat and great music. It was never too loud where you couldn't hear yourself talk. Ended around 12:30 and most of my table came to my house for b'fast. All in all, it doesn't get any better.

Default Katie Belle's Ring in the New Year

At Katie Belle's
Table of 8 on edge of dance floor. You get top shelf appetizers(escargot, crab stuffed shrimp etc) , choice of salad, 2 top shelve drinks (served in water glass size for us) for each, order off the menu and you get two entrees-I picked lobster tails and fillet mignon, pick your own dessert and unlimited champagne all night. Great service and spaced out the meal. Hats, necklaces, noise makers, balloons. Rocky and the Rollers and fun dance games when they go on break. Countdown and balloon drop at midnight. Great party! Great food! Great Music! Great fun!

Really sounds like that was a good time. Sorry we missed it.
