We referred the night before Thanksgiving as amateur night due to all the college kids hitting the bars.

A lot of Rec centers have New Year's parties. They fill up fast!

I think a lot of us here have a house party, if you can call it that! We, our little group, have a card night with dessert and a champagne toast. We do not very often make it to the New Year.
