Default The " GAS STATION" @ Colony

Went into the BURGER STATION yesterday and was sad to learn ..the BEST breakfast place in town was no longer serving breakfast. We've been in there so many times with guests and grandkids...what a place !!!! The owner Don decided to change hours and is now open until 6pm. We tried his Great Lakes PERCH ..reminds me of the FISH FRIES back in Michigan. It's easy to forget he's there with all the other choices we have. The Burger Station: great food and independent business owner ...IT gets my vote.

I have never heard anything but raves about this place. I would try it, but that area is very busy this time of year.

Maybe this summer, but I forget they serve food at that gas station, and we usually gas up near 466.

Right on.
Had a burger at Palmer last week and it could not even come close to this one.
Sorry to see them give up breakfast, but can imagine the financial prospects for lunch and dinner are better.
This is the best Diner type place in TV IMHO

Default Good, Good, Good........

Based on the rave reviews read on TOTV I decided to stop in one evening for a dinner to go. Unfortunately they were closing down because of a family emergency. BUT, I'm sure by the look of disappointment in my eyes Don fired the grill back up to accommodate me with a delicious cheese burger platter to go. Meat was delicious and cooked to order with a mound of hand cut fries and a tasty side of cole slaw I was set for the evening. $10 for a delicious dinner that went down easily . Would not hesitate to return there to try any of his other offerings.

The burger station has the best food around. Love the burgers and perch. Don is a great chef.
