Default No masks at Jersey Mikes

Went in to get a sub yesterday. All customers had masks but not one of the employees were wearing a mask when they were making the subs.

Just don’t stick the food up your nose. Problem solved.

MASK VIGILANTIES!
In the 1950s, behind the Iron Curtain, people used to turn in their neighbors for listening to Radio Free Europe...
Just walk out of Jersey Mikes and go to WAWA - they are very adherent to viral transmission guidelines - and they didnt raise their prices to take advantage of a crisis

Thumbs down

Took my last trip to Jersey Mikes last Sunday until virus is over. Placed order online and was supposed to just pickup at register and not have contact with other customers that might be ordering in shop. . Had about 12 people waiting by register because their pickup orders were not ready, some had masks on and some did not. When I finally walked out, I was a nervous wreck since I am in the high risk group, Not one employee had a mask on. Put in an online complaint but never received a reply. This was the Wildwood location.
Will try WaWa next time, thanks.

I find it hypocritical that the television commercial done by the Jersey Mike's founder shows two employees working behind him, and both of them are wearing masks.

For me, for now, any restaurant open for pick-up, and shortly open for inside seating, not practicing social distancing and food preparers not wearing masks, will not get my business. For me, for now.

Totally agree with you. Why would I want someone who is preparing my food not required to wear a mask?

For me it depends on what the food is. If they're working over a hot grill, I really would not want the sweat from their face dripping off a mask that isn't very good at absorbing moisture, onto my cheeseburger. If they're working with cold foods exclusively, yeah I'd prefer them to wear a mask.

It is complaint-worthy. It directly impacts the public's health. Good to know who's taking no precautions when preparing your food so you can make a choice.

How do you know if they took a shower/bath this week or even in the last month? Did they wash their hands after using the bathroom? Did he/her just pick a bugger out of their nose? Whole lot of other things that impact the public health that you don't know about.
