Agreed. The sign not going to stop traffic. Done to protect against lawsuits When someone tried to sue, they'll have ace in they're pocket. Only way to stop traffic would be gate and lock.
Signs only stop law bidding people or people that's not special.

topspinmo: Perhaps the no trespassing sign is the first step? Posters may not be aware that this act is to make it clear as to the status of people as either invitees or trespassers. By virtue of the fact that people have been using this trail for years without such a notice posted Duke energy maybe in the position of acting as if they accepted golf cart drivers as invitees. So they decide for liability purposes to post the no trespassing sign. If the abuse continues then perhaps they will go to the next step and erect a gate.
I really can't blame them because Energy Companies are a huge target for lawsuits. Let me give you an actual case. A thief was trying to extract copper from a utility station got electrified lost two arms and a jury awarded him millions
Posters here are demanding rights they do not really have due to their personal circumstances. How far should one go to accommodate? We all make choices and if we do not want to live with them then decisions have to be made.
when I first got here I was at a deli when I guy approached me and asked if I lived in TV. I said yes and he literally laughed in my face and said I bought in Stonecrest got a better deal, etc and still got the villages lifestyle. I'll admit that conversation stuck in my crawl.
A poster mentioned that villagers are welcome to Stonecrest. Of course who is going to turn down business. Stonecrest people have access to anything in the village commercial district..its public Its the remainder that's in question and paid for exclusively by residents of TV and that's were the rub comes in
Resident pay premium prices for homes and incur monthly fees to live here. they made their choice and as the community grows so does the crowding. Come September morning that reality is going to begin to hit us in the face again.
