I have a new post: What happened to the Reporter Newspaper, ??? a paper that told Villagers what is really happening in and about the Villages, articles the Daily Sun doesn't print.

I'm puzzled. Somebody asks where is The Reporter and somebody else said he gets it regularly.

Is The Reporter in operation or is it not? Any definitive answer?

Meanwhile, I have a question. Do you think The Reporter presents the news more accurately or less accurately than the Daily Sun? What do you perceive as the difference between the two? Is it bias? Is it news selection? The slant on the news?

I get it regularly in the mail every Wed (or Thurs?).... I am still in my first year of residency here...so, maybe they send a complimentary subscription for a year? I do read the Villages-related news stories...they present topics that the Sun seems to avoid with more of an owner's perspective on things. There seems to be a bit more of an anti-developer bias, but, as long as you take it with the proverbial grain of salt, the paper does provide valuable information.
