Default No power

Neighborhood here in Hadley has been without power since just before 5pm today. Can not get through to SECO to report it. Wonder how many others are affected.

Charlotte and Hemingway out. Got through to Seco right after and reported it. Automated system said would be on today.

Sanibel has a partial loss. I have power but my neighbor across the street does not.

Looking at the SECO web site they show a large area, including Colony Plaza, without power. Over 4,000 out.

Default Power restored

We are in the village of Sanibel. Our power was restored a few minutes ago. We also received a callback from SECO that power has been restored to the area. Hope you all have power, too.

About 5 minutes after it went out...heard sirens but don't know if they were because of the outage or not. It was inconvenient (making supper) but just reinforced what we take for granted (electricity=air, lights, cooking, fridge etc. Glad it got fixed after being out, I'd guess for about an hour.

Bonita did not lose power, but then that is because we have that special auto backup power system that the Developer awarded us because we are the best neighborhood in The Villages.

No loss of power in all parts of Hemingway. Arvin, mailbox area to Canal had power. Guess they're just too close to Bonita.

the Daily Sun said 5,000 residents! SECO knew right away that there was a power outage. I took a nice nap.
