Question Rec centers & pools

I have a lot in #215 there R two rec centers, Manatee and Bradenton, can we use either one?

Or for that matter all of them through out the Villages?

What about Country Club pools?

Then I see priority passes?????

You can use any rec center pool. The country club pools require priority membership.

So we need to pay $260 for the use of those pools.

What is the difference in those pools?

Or what's the benefit.

You can use any or all neighborhood pools and rec centers. We tend to use the one where our mailbox is located. The sports pools are at the regional rec centers are also available for your use. The sports pools are mainly for swimming laps, organized activities and classes. The pools at the Country Clubs require a special pass.

Not sure of the cost...
Not much difference that I've noticed except for the availability of pool bar service and piped in music.

Adding to the post above, they tend to be less crowded. IIRC, the pool at Bonifay isn't a country club pool and I don't know whether Evans Prairie will have a pool.

You should go and visit the country club pools, now and in the high season Jan-Apr. Visit the neighborhood and reginal pools.
There really isn't much difference.....they are all nice!

Aren't the Country Club Pools for adults only? I am pretty sure they are. They don't seem to be used that much from my observations. Maybe that is the reason for Bonifay?

Several of the Country Club pools have hot tubs with them and food service is usually available. But, note that kids can go in Country Club pools if they are with a priority member so if you don't like kids in pools where you go don't opt for that. Also included in the country clubs pools is of course the one at Orange Blossom CC, it's big and has a waterfall which adds a bit of fun.

Country Club pools are like Family Pools! You will have times during the day that are supposed to be adult times but most of the time they are open for member's families - and tend to be very crowded during the Christmas break or in-between semester or Easter break.

They do have bar service and restaurant service but I am very happy at my neighborhood adult pool - and do not pay any extra fee.

Looks like for now, I needn't worry about the priority member deal.

Now the rec centers, the closest one I see is the Sea Breeze, which I visited in April, really nice.

I don't see a rec ctr near Fernandina or for that matter south of 466A, maybe not built yet???

I assume all rec centers are available to all residents

Right assumption.
