Default Did the Food Trucks event take place at Brownwood yesterday?

If so, did anyone go or know someone who did? How was it?

Yes, and what we had was good. Had Bar-B-Q and a cup cake.

There were Apps, lobster rolls, a gourmet coffee van, cupcake truck, barbeque sandwiches, flat breads. Those are all that I can remember. Rocky and the Rollers kept us entertained although they really took what seemed like a really long break. There was lots of dancing and fun. I absolutely love the stands and how they are layed out. An easy climb and lots of exits. You're really never about 3 or 4 people away from being able to exit. Nice. Looking forward to more stores opening.

Lobster was all gone by the time we got there -- about 6:30. Truck was called Monsta Lobsta. They still had crab rolls and some other good-sounding stuff. Several other trucks + Rocky and the Rollers -- large crowd, lots of fun. Spend a little money on these folks and more will come!

I was disappointed there wasn't more advertising of these food trucks. I saw it once a while ago in the Sun, but no time near that Monday. The Farmers Market and food trucks are a great addition to Brownwood. Very appropriate for a western themed square.
