I want to have my wife, who is a non golfer, to join myself and two golfers.
In the tee time system, do I add her to our 4some and at check in, tell the course that she is a non golfer and is just riding with us? |

You get an Observer's "Pass" at the Starter's window. Hope you have a Starter than knows what they're doing.

As advised below, simply identify your spouse to the starter as a spectator/observer. The starter will issue a tag for your cart. Be advised that there can be only two people in a cart whether they are golfers or spectators. (I ran afoul of this rule recently when my grandkids were visiting.) Also, spectators are not allowed out of the cart during the round. If you want your spouse to help you read the slope of the green or track your tee shot from behind the teeing ground, then a spectator pass won’t allow that. Enjoy the round! |

In the 15+ years in TV have Never had a Championship or Exec course, Not know Observers tag that is attached to the front window usually on the spectator side, for a non player. Some spouses need to drive the cart, some don’t want to leave their non golfer guest at home, some who just enjoy watching their friend, spouse play.
Starters, ambassadors and the guys that check you in for the most part, are Very familiar with ride along.
