Default North LaBelle neighborhood pool open.....

I just went to get the mail and there were two younger people (probably visitors) in the North LaBelle neighborhood pool with a sign that says limit 27 people.. Makes no sense to be reserving and forcing mask and social distancing at the big pools and opening small neighborhood pools with no attendant and no requirement for masks and open to all. Ridiculous!

Still makes no sense. Anyone in a car or cart or just walking can enter one of the local neighborhood pools. There is no one checking ID's, requiring masks, demanding social distancing and there are no marked off lanes. Limit is about 27 people in one of the small pool areas. Would you want to swim or sunbathe next to a person who just came down from NY on an RV and decided they wanted to swim in TV? Unless there is management at the entrance then their may as well not be any at any of the pools. This entire thing is becoming ridiculous. I'm sure the dog parks will be open next and people from the tri County area can bring their dogs as they have been doing all Winter.

So you're saying there are only two people in the pool and they two younger types, or you saw many people and spotted two young people in the crowd? If it's just the two, I would say they are trespassers. You said younger people, you must be 30 or older to use a neighborhood pool. As of last week only 3 neighborhood pools have opened and they were all ten miles north of LaBelle. If that neighborhood pool was actually open, they would be at least 27 people there and a line waiting to go in, not two young people.

You could of told them two things. You could of said that pool is closed, that's why there is no one here but you two. The nearest pool that is open is Colony Rec Center, that the big blue building just across 466A, you'll need to go there to use a pool. You could also have said, this pool is closed and your trespassing and if you don't leave I'm going to report you now. If you didn't want to speak to them, you could gone back to your car, and called Neighborhood Watch and said there were two young trespassers in the North Labelle Pool, or you can do what you did, and just do nothing.

I was there too. There were only 6 people max in the pool area and those young 40 somethings produced quest passes when asked by the community watch person.

Relax!!

You did not read the follow up post to mine. I did tell them the pool was closed and they should leave. Then, I walked to the entrance and there is a new sign on the gate that said "pool entrance max 27 people". Then I called he Villages CIA and they said "all pools are open on Monday". I said "well it's not Monday and there are people in the pool". They said they would check on it. Still, why open neighborhood pools to max 27 people unless you have a person at the door, require masks, check ID's, social distancing and then require all of these things and then less people swimming at the big pools like Colony? Makes no sense.

Well, there are a lot of people saying that they will be responsible and object to the "adult supervision" taking place. So, which way do we go?

Last time I checked we are still in phase 1 of the restrictions. If you are going to restrict at the big pools and not restrict with a person at the door in the small pools then it makes no sense.
