To be fair, I don't recall if that was wooded area two years ago or mostly open field. There might not have been much to leave standing anyway.
And yet, you felt the need to say "The developer leveled every bit of nature they could find in the new areas".

Established trees and lower bonds north, younger folks south. Neither area is perfect but they're both far better than many other places to live.
Nice. A very balanced, although subjective to one's personal preferences, and well considered view of the differences between PA and Maryland. I mean, north and south of the Mason Dixon line.

You copied my post, highlighted some of it, but then misquoted the rest???

Not true.

Most of the trees were leveled long before "The Developer" started building... It was pasture land for cattle for decades...

They actually went out of their way to preserve wheatever trees they could. Much like they did in Marsh Bend...

It's currently the "North end of the middle of TV"...

Right now, the geographic middle is considered to be between 466a & 44 (closer to 44, ie Brownwood), but that too will change as they continue their southern building...

Looking at the map, The Village of St. Charles is north/south center. That is north of 466A.

A straight line from the Mulberry Grove Rec Center to the circle at Bexley Trail and Landstone Blvd (a little south of Boosters) is 17 miles. The 8.5 mile mark is in the water of Evans Prairie, just south of Pinellas and north of the traffic circle with Hillsborough and Buena Vista.

Recently I was at an establishment north of 466, as soon as I said “Hi” to an individual, the usual question was asked. What Village do you live in? My answer “ South of 44”. Immediately I get the lecture: I would never live south. There is nothing there, no trees, no golf courses, no rec centers, no pools. And the best one is all the roads are straight. I've had this conversation before and my answer is always the same, “everyone has their preferences.”
I don't want to get into that debate. But, the questions continue, how much did you pay for your house, how much is the bond, you guys are destroying our lifestyle.

These conversation are what will destroy our Lifestlye! Why can't everyone just have their preferences and be happy!
Let me hear your opinions.
If it makes you feel any better when I said ( a few years ago) I live just South of 466A the people looked
at me like I told them I just landed from another planet.
We bought in 2013.

People having opinions has absolutely nothing to do with the decline in our lifestyle. If there is one it is due to a HUGE increase in population and the corresponding detachment of the developer to individuals. I'm sure there are others who's opinion is there is no destruction of our lifestyle and that is just fine with me.
