Default T-Mobile???

I was curious if there are some T-Mobile customers in The Villages. If so, are you happy with your service? Thank you

We visited The Villages two years ago when we had T-Mobile. The service was awful. Couldn't make a phone call from inside any building! We knew we were moving here, so when our contract came up for renewal, we cancelled and went to Consumer Cellular. We have excellent service with them and we're saving a bunch of money!

Wish I could say T Mobile had good reception, bit I tried it earlier this, year, and it was awful. I went to the tMobile guy at WalMart on 466 to see what was the story. he said, "I hate to tell you, but you'll never get good reception with T Mobile in The Villages. ". I went to Cricket Wireless and have been very pleased. They are owned by ATT and use their towers. I pay $45 a month for unlimited everything and 3 GB data. Very pleased. BTW $45/month includes taxes and no contract.

Tmobile is not very good for us either. We keep it because at home it is connected to our Wifi and the calls go through their VOIP system; quality is excellent. Recently in France and Italy and used our phone for GPS only 2G but was free and worked admirably. Also all calls overseas back to the states through wifi are free. On our street Verizon does not work well...must install their tower for in home reception.

We had great service in the Kansas City area before moving here. Since here we have had frequent dropped calls, emergency service only and no texting ability. When our contract expired last month, we switched to ATT and now no problems. After several complaints to them, T-Mobile finally admitted this a gray area for them

I live in The Pinellas and T-Mobile's 4G stinks. I will be moving to Verizon.

Just found this post of the web. I have an unlock phone so will probably change..

Coverage Issue- New to T-Mobile

I'm afraid I can only offer the following alternative:
1. Get your ETF refund.
2. Pay off the EIP balance on the phones you bought from T-Mobile.
3. Get T-Mobile to unlock your phones.
4. Go to an AT&T MVNO like Cricket or Consumer Cellular and get two new SIM cards and port your service.
Use the new SIMs in your T-Mobile phones.
Do this at the end of your billing period as none of the carriers prorate partial months any more.

This list includes all of the discount cell phone service providers. They also tell you who provides their service. If you are looking for new service this should provide the answers.

I got T-Mobile service in May and it was terrible. However, they sent me a booster at no charge and I do not have problems now.
