Would like a suggestion on where to go kayaking in the area.

Lake Griffin State park is nice. Tons of wildlife to see.

Crystal River. We went last year in March during manatee season and it was awesome. The water was Crystal clear and the manatees were amazing, sometimes right under your kayak. We did this with a guide using their kayaks but there are launch sites if you have your own. There is a kayak club in TV. We are coming for a preview visit in Feb and I can't wait to go kayaking there again.

Pirates Cove in Ozello. Easy launch,many places to explore, fish or sightsee.

No concern on alligators when you are kayaking.
