Now I'm really confused.
me too

Do you think it's like flammable and inflammable?

Maybe they would make better buttons?

Grammar Girl : Don't Worry, Be Gruntled :: Quick and Dirty Tips

Cannot say I have ever used the word "gruntled" in a sentence up to now.

AHAA!!!
"The Merriam-Webster online dictionary puts the first use in 1926, but doesn’t show the source." - See more at: Grammar Girl : Don't Worry, Be Gruntled :: Quick and Dirty Tips

I see the problem now. My newest dictionary is the Marriam-Webster 1925 edition that I won in a spelling contest the very same year.

I for one, am not on the forums as much as I once was. I do feel the tone has changed overall.

Here have been many posts which have been argumentative to the point of being hostile and resorting to middle school behavior.

This has been the site that welcomed many of us here and that we relied upon to find good restaurants, subcontractors, etc.

Several posters have been banned for their hostile attitudes and perhaps more should be too.

We are all here to "live the dream" and enjoy this period of our lives in "America's Friendliest Home Town". When I get on the site and see a bunch of bickering and back biting, I just turn off my computer. I don't need that in my life. There is too much good here to enjoy and celebrate.

I won't buy into the negativity.

Tom, you're a funny guy, don't change.
I personally think TOTV is a great website. Anything that irritates us is easily ignored.

I ignore stuff that upsets me as well. TOTV is very tame though and for the most part people treat one with some respect. I have learned not to keep on trying changing minds that will not be moved for whatever reason.

There are a lot of great people on TOTV.

Well said. Very diverse audience with a wealth of knowledge to share. It's almost addictive. What a great place to live. Keep it between the line folks.

I originally came to the forums this past year to learn more about the Villages through the experiences of the peole living here. I try to avoid politics, religion and fishing lies, oops stories. I learned to think about what someone writes and look for the tone of their voice in the words besides what they write. Of course the humor and honesty of the longtime posters is always fun.

I only take my 224 613 Project seriously. Not much else. It helps with stress management if you do not let the small stuff get you down. I do really appreciate the long timers on here and miss the ones we have lost or who have jumped onto different virtual reality venues.

TOTV is still a great site. If you ask for information you will get an answer. On any social site you will have "negative comments"----ignore and move on.
