how to get rid of of a old tv,do they take it in the garbage??

You have to give them a call and a pick up will be scheduled. Did just that a week ago.

Put it out on the side of the road and more than likely it will never make it to garbage pick up time.

Put it on the street with a for sale sign $40.00. Someone will take it away for you.

Don't even need the for sale sign. Simply state it works and free for the taking. One of the lawn guys will usually happily take it. If broken, just leave it for the garbage pick up and they'll haul it away. If under fifty pounds, no need to call for special pick up.
