Default One More Wake-up!

And I hope to be able to change my avatar!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So looking forward to some sunshine and warm!! On Hilton Head Island tonite and endured the fiercest rainstorm - good thing was that the tornado line blew right past the island!

Lunch at Pelican Point in Georgia tomorrow and then it is zoom! all the way to my snowbird nest - being careful, of course, going thru the rt 301 speed trap towns!

Travel has been tiring - stopping to visit family in the Carolinas was the fun part - but a different motel and mattress every nite and lugging bags in and out of the car each time, too - not fun!

Hope some of you will be dining at home or off-campus tomorrow nite since we hope to grab a bite to eat @ Too Jays in Spanish Springs.

Cyall soon!

Drive carefully. Some of the highways down here are awash in sunshine.

And, you are right........... be especially careful of the speed traps in Waldo and Lawtey. Their roads are designed to make you think you are back on the open road and the speed limit is still the city speed limit.

Be safe.

Love your "One more wake up" you have to be military. The only time I've heard it phrased that way. i.e. :10 days and a wake up.

Thanx, Carl! Not my preferred route - but, himself is driving - I'm just along to schlepp luggage! And it is Sunday, so we can pretend we are just out for a leisurely drive! Am grateful, however, that despite the speed trap nature of some towns...at least the speed limit now is higher than it used to be! And not having been that way in a couple of trips it will be interesting to see what is new!
