Default Online review of The Villages

I was on Yahoo and clicked a link...

I recognized the picture before I read the article

Nicely written, for the most part I agree with the article. Good PR I expect more newcomers to TV as a result.

Nice article, not hyped like so many.

I have a hard time considering Villagers
“Elderly” when you see how active everyone is.

My favorite lines are: "upbeat or chirpy" infrastructure (advertising, news & radio)......... \clip/ ...... and "experience more sex."

Nice article, but I don’t see myself as elderly, so I don’t know who they’re talking about.

For some reason the link would not work for me after several attempts so I did some searching and found this which I hope is the same article. The case for moving to a retirement community - MarketWatch

I read the book Saul Levmore wrote with a co-author, "Aging Thoughtfully...". Although he makes some good points Professor Saul comes across as an opinionated aloof elite, quite snooty about class makeup, looking down his nose at regular hard working middle class folks. His condescending attitude, to some degree, is evident in this article he wrote.

There was a "Bill" that responded to the article, "The top 10% are the ones that move into these communities... They are expensive!"

I didn't realize that I was in the top 10%. The top 10% must not be as rich as the media portrays them.

TV is a perfect balance, housing for every budget, enough activities for every mindset, enough inland to be safe from most tropical storms, the only problem for me is balanced dining--which we solve by eating out less and dining , home--OMG we discovered our stove/oven

Wait a few weeks there will be another club to join
