These are not scheduled until the end of July, think you kinda jumped the gun on this one.

Thank you for the clarification on the date. No wonder I didn't hear anything about it!

No reserved spots. Gates open at 5:30 with the shows at 7:30. Villagers will be lining up hours prior to the 5:30 opening to get the closest stage spots. In order to get a reasonably close spot I believe it would be minimally 3+ hours sitting in my cart in 90* heat before the concert begins. I hope it is successful but for me I’ll wait for reserved seating in another venue.

Not sure you are fully briefed on how this will work. First of all you purchase tickets by sections. The section directly in front of the stage is obviously the most expensive. Sections on the side and further back are less, all cars will be parked in the area where they usually have cart tailgating during polo matches.

These are the guidlines as established by the Villages Entertainment:

• Each ticket is valid for one golf car or car (depends on the section. Each golf car or car may only have up to 2 people to help us maintain social distancing guidelines. If there are additional persons in your vehicle, they will not be permitted to enter.

• You must remain in your car at all times other than to use the restroom or get concessions.

• Each golf car/car will be spaced 6 feet apart on all sides.

• Sitting outside of your car at any time is not permitted.

• Gates will open at approximately 5:30pm with the concert beginning at approximately 7:30pm. Please note these times may shift by a few minutes.

• The best way to ensure you are parked with your friends is to arrive together. Each golf car or car will be parked in the next available space to ensure we are able to park everyone quickly and safely. Saving spaces will not be permitted. Pets are not permitted for any reason. Service animals are permitted.

• Each section is general admission and will be assigned by our staff as you enter the facility.

Can I walk around or join my friends?
You may only leave your golf car or car to use the restroom or purchase concessions. Walking around for other purposes or congregating with others violates our social distancing policies and is therefore prohibited.

What if we have more than 2 persons in a car?
To help ensure social distancing, having more than 2 persons in a car is not permitted. You will not be permitted entry to the event.

Do I have to wear a mask?
Wearing a mask is recommended at all times. Please follow CDC guidelines.

Could be a long wait, they are already cancelling or postponing shows for this fall.

Word is that the squares will open July 6. Wonder what rules will be in place for that?

Not really the way it’s going to be, see below post. Mrs. KC got online early and got us tics to the very front section.

Can you imagine what mayhem there would have been had it been “first come, first serve”?

we won't be attending any of these. the prices are outrageous for an outdoor show where i'm confined to a vehicle. i think the only band i MIGHT want to see would be 38special & even still-having to isolate myself for this would be a waste of $$. i'd rather go to the drive-in movies

Does not sound attractive to us.

Wish they would have done it by park your car and than take chairs and sit in social distance rows.

Sitting in our car watching a concert that we might or might not see from where we are parked does not sound like a fun evening.

Waited this long for concerts will wait longer.
