Default Multimodal paths are 2 lanes (not three)

Whether I am on a bike or a cart, when I pass someone moving in the same direction (walkers or bikers), I move way left to give significant clearance.

You are approaching us from the rear in your cart. I must be passing too slowly for you, as you insist on passing both me and the person I am passing, even if it means going on the grass.

Would you do this on a 2 lane roadway? FFS! be patient!

I drive a car, drive a golf cart and ride a bike. The original poster always thinks they are right.
When passing another vehicle it is the responsibility of the one doing the passing to be sure there is enough room to do it safely.

Did I read this post correctly? It seems that it states that there are times when a person is passing another cart, cycle, or pedestrian on a MMP that someone else "passes the passer". That would be insane. I've lived here 9 years and have almost 30,000 miles on my golf cart, and I've never seen that (and hope I never will)

We walk, bike, and golf cart on the MMP. My question is “what’s the hurry”? We had a cart pass our bikes on a blind curve with carts coming the other way. I’m frequently amazed at how stupid some people are.

Actually, that's 2 statements in one. Passing on a blind curve is indeed "stupid". "What's the hurry", well, neither of us know, there could be a legitimate reason.

My guess, late for a tee time.

Patience (courtesy, responsibility, safety) are not compatible with the golf cart drivers who are always in a hurry to get somewhere (like where they can get their next drink)!

There are so many ****ty golf cart drivers here that only care about themselves it is silly. They only care about getting their ass to the golf course for T time. If they got out 15 minutes earlier... All about them. These are the "villagers" the villages don't need.

That would constitute a legitimate reason in my book : )

There are multiple threads on bikes on the MMP. What is surprising is how many bike haters exist in this community.

Yep. That or happy hour is almost over. And the stress is causing chest pains. Need to hurry. Floor it! 😏

There are the ones that can't seem to leave early enough to make their tee time. Funny you find they end up at the same course you're playing and you left in plenty of time. They probably used to race to work too.
