Default Opinion for vacuum with no beater brush

I need to get a vac with no beater brush due to the type of rugs I have and also to use on tile floors. If you have one you love, let me know the brand, thanks! Or, if you have one you want to sell, that would also be great.

Deb, we use a Shark Navigator Lift Away. It has two speeds and the brushes do not engage on low speed. Good for laminate and tile. And thicker carpet. There seems to be a few choices if you Google brushless vacuums. Good luck!

Dyson vac's come with two rotating brush heads. One has beater bars and the other is smooth.

The Shark Navigator Professional has a rotating brush but no beater bar. You can run it with or without the brush rotating. About $200 t0 $225

We have a Miele stick vacuum for floors and a small handle held for dusting--our cleaning person loves the Miele, has rotating brush for carpets-and a brush head for tile/wood

This is what I have. You can configure it as an upright or a canister vac. I like the canister because it goes under furniture better, and you can lift off the attachments.

Mine came with an attachment for hard floors: it has suction and a microfiber pad for cleaning bare floors. I vacuum the floors, and DH swabs the deck.

I also use the white Shark Navigator Professional. Great vacuum and better than the Dyson's I've had and it's 1/2 the price.

Any Shark upright lift off unit provides with brush or without brush vacuuming plus all the attachments for other vacuuming/dusting/tasks.
