I remember, years ago, Sears appliances had the BEST reputation of any, along with "Sears Best" paint.

FYI, Sears had an outlet store in Tampa. They sell on line, or you can go to Tampa and check it out. I want a drawer dishwasher, and they don't seem to be available much anymore, so I'm planning to visit the outlest in Dec.

We had to replace a GE fridge with a Kenmore and love it. We have always bought Kenmore and havehad great luck with them. BTW the Sears store on 441 up near Taverna Red has good customer service FWIW.

Sears never made their own items..some other vendor always manufactured their items, however..Sears-Kenmore appliances always were strong machines all the way around. I have never had any problems with Sears hard goods.

We've had a lot of problems with Sears customer service in recent years but not with Kenmore quality. I would not buy from Sears again and would probably go to another store to buy Whirlpool or LG appliances.

We opted out of the appliance pkgs when we bought, got all Kenmore appliances except for the fridge, had Kenmore all my life, still liking them just as much now as when I was a lot younger.
