I've noticed that few restaurants are open on Christmas Day, but what restaurants are open on New Years Day?

I would think most of them would be open for New Years Day.

Hope you don't mind me 'piggy-backing' on your post. We are looking for somewhere to go New Years Eve. We will be there for our Lifestyle/preview visit. We've never been down there before, so we don't have a circle of friends. Will the town squares have bands and parties?

The music ends at 9:00 on the squares. The restaurants around the squares will be open. We have done our last 7 years at City Fire's New Year's Eve Bash. This year there are several of us that decided to do a pub crawl.
There are several restaurants that have entertainment. It'll be crowded, but you will meet people just out having a good time.
